Mr. Ryo Nakagawara (two people. February 12 - 19 February, HCM trail, Motorbike) Tempo of the tour and the stop-over: Riding for each day just enough. It is good to separate moving day and sight seeing days.
What were your favorite places? For riding, National Park riding from Phong Nha to Khe Sanh was the best for me. A Luoi to Hue was another good riding. For sight seeing Hue in Tet was great. I saw fireworks and many exciting events.
Transportation: Transportations other than bike was good enough and riding Minsk was great.
Accommodation: : Some local place accommodation was poor but I guess I cannot expect much on such a remote place. Dinner in Mai Chau with host family is unforgettable. Hotel in Hoi An was the best during this tour. May be staying 50% at the trip in private house is recommended. Otherwise, it is very difficult to make a chance to talk to local people.
Food: Quality: We enjoyed much kind of foods. Good selection of the restaurant. Enough and plenty quantity.
The organization - Guide services: I had numbers of e- mail between Voyage Vietnam before trip and I needed to change our schedule several times and you were very flexible to my request. Even on the travel, route was changed per our request. It is great!
The attitude of your guide: First day, Hung was just a guide, second day we became friends, third day until end of the trip, he is now like my family. Great skill, good knowledge, great mechanic! I saw him on 5:30 AM to repair engine during this trip.
The timing each day: Generally good. Since trip was only 8 days, we could not allocate time at the local village but it is ok we could take an opportunity at Mai Chau.
His knowledge: about the knowledge, Hung guided us very good at Vietnamese history and culture. It seems to be his leaning in college was very useful to this job.
The guide’s language: His English skill was good enough.
Other comments about the services and guide: I used walked- Talker and GPS for this trip and it very useful to find when somebody got lost on warn the hazard such as cows or Buffer los on the road or to estimate where we are and how much more to go.
Was the tour good value for money? Expensive compared to open bus tour but reasonable for the adventure and effort of the guiding.
How did you hear about us? I will recommend Voyage Vietnam to others. But it is not recommended for the people who do not speak French or English. I found Voyage Vietnam on the internet.
Other comments: I recommend voyage Vietnam to any open minded travellers - thinks this trip needed a little experience to enjoy the whole thing.
