What were your favorite places? The mountain villages were incredible. Ba Be Lake was unreal & it offered an unusual experience in that it allowed us to get off the beaten path.
Transportation: Minsk.
Accommodation: I prefer private houses by FAR. The people whose homes we stayed in were welcoming and friendly, it wasn't awkward at all and the best times were over dinner and rice wine in someone's kitchen.
Food: Enormous quantity. Every meal seemed like a 4 - 10 course banquet, especially at the homestays where we ate food prepared by the family. DELICIOUS!
The organization - Guide services: Excellent attitude. Our bikes had a few problems and Tien handled it all with composure and humour. It was his first trip to lead and it was incredible! He took care of our every need. Good knowledge. It's really hard to come up with words to say how wonderfully de did, everything was taken care of. Good language. Tien was the best, he became part of the family. Even though we didn't know the others before leaving, at the end we were all like a family! Driving through 15km of mud will do that I guess!
The price: Without a doubt. Not having to think about money because almost everything is covered in the daily fee taken care.
How did you hear about us? I took a 2 nights trip a month or so ago, and loved every moment of that one as well. I had to come back.
Any other comments: At first (after my first trip with Voyage Vietnam) I thought I'd been lucky to have such a GREAT guide. It turned out, however, that they're all just incredible at this, and my second trip was phenomenal. This company will go far if they're all like this.
