Mr Inigo Sanchez CACICEDO (Two people, November 15th - November 23th, Northwest Vietnam on motorbike)Tempo of the tour and the stop-over: I found the amount of travelling adequate. Sometimes longer, some days shorter. But it depends on weather and road conditions. I would, now that it is over, try to make more night stops at family houses. It was a great experience.
What were your favorite places? The three homestays more great. In terms of landscape, I really liked it between Son La and Lai Chau. Sapa was great, although we got really drenched in water. The more rugged roads were better, but it depends on the driving expertise of the people.
Transportation: Minsk Motorcycle. As a British man said in one of the hotels, "I love these Minsk bikes!" They go on, and on, and on… No complaints. Perfect bike for this kind of trip.
Accommodation: As I said before, the hotels were good, but private houses were so much more fun and interesting. I prefer private houses.
Food: Sufficient quantity. Food was great. Sometimes better, other times not so good. But no one can refine taste… No problems here. Vietnamese cuisine is great! Good and excellent quality. Sometimes good. Others excellent. I guess that if I do a second trip, knowing what it is like, we could organize it more carefully. But that is why experience is always a plus.
The organization - Guide services: Excellent attitude. Thang was great! Just that he thought I was a more experienced moto rider… I apologise for not having made that clear earlier…Excellent knowledge. Keep it up! It was a great experience I hope to repeat. I'll practice my moto skills before then. If you would like me to serve as reference for future Spanish customers, I will be more than pleased to do so!
Thang has good language. We had our gaps, but we worked through everything just fine.
The price: No problems here.
