Tempo of the tour and the stop-over: Stops were great but might be better to have a hotel after the muddy day (day 2 from Na Sam to Quang Uyen). Easier to clean up in a room than someone's home.

What were your favorite places? Impossible to tell, all was great, well thought out / planned. Loved the homestay at Ba Be Lake.

Transportation: Motorcycles - no problems till last day, no one's fault, just happens. What can I say? Dat and Nam were special. Everything was no problem, easy going, and very safety conscious.

Accommodation: Mix was good. Last stop hotel was ok, but preferred smaller tours. Rooms, accommodation was not 5* but not what we expected. Totally suitable for this type of trip.

Food: Enormous quantity. Having 2 big boys, I was worried there may not be enough but plenty. I'm sure I put on weight. Good quality.

The organization - Guide services: Excellent attitude. Liked everyone we met / dealt with. Especially Dat and Nam. Excellent knowledge. Fluent language.

The price: Absolutely worth it.

Others: Advise people to take a towel for homestays. I'll be back!
