Mr John BRIFFA (Four people. December 7th - 11th, Northeast Vietnam, Motorbike)Tempo of the tour and the stop-over: : The stops were fine and there was always flexibility of stopping at markets, café's, view, ect.… Amount of travel was also fine.
What were your favorite places? Ba Be lake and Ban Gioc waterfalls due to the amazing scenery there. The dirt track and bamboo bridge between Quang Uyen and Dong Khe provided an exciting ride so I enjoyed that part very much also.
Transportation: Motorcycle.
Accommodation: Basic but clean and comfortable accommodation. I definitely prefer the homestay, the host are warm and welcoming and it really gives the opportunity to experience the region.
Food: Enormous quantity. Excellent quality.
The organization - Guide services: Excellent attitude and knowledge. Good technical savvy with the Minsk. Fluent language.
The price: : Yes, worth it.

Any other comments: I was looking for something a little different and this tour provided just that. It greatly exceeded my expectations and was an experience I'll never forget. Amazing scenery, warm people, tasty food and a great ride on the Minsk. I am looking forward to a tour of the North West in summer 2007.
