Tempo of the tour and the stop-over: There was a lot of riding each day, but I think we drove "cautiously"(slow !) – the distance we covered allowed us to see a lot, which was fantastic – but maybe there would be an option of a shorter route with more relax/reflection time.
What were your favorite places? Mr Boi's house, Ha Giang, Mr Quyen's house – but really, everything was excellent, just beautiful.
Accommodation: Homestays were fantastic- great experience, great hosts, very comfortable. Hotels/guesthouse was fine.
Food: Enormous.
The organization - Guide services: Tuyen was a fantastic guide – easy going, a natural leader, I really trusted him and felt he was very patient teacher! Great sense of humour too. Good – He gave us some interesting informations. I would like to know more about the different hill tribes and who they are, maybe also about the history and war( ex : the cave was particularly interesting because he told us it was used by local people to hide in ).
The price: Definitely great value for money but still was expensive for us !
