Tempo of the tour and the stop-over: During all the way up North and back in 6 days is hard. Especially in bad weather conditions. But the fatigue soon makes place for joy and astonishing views.What were your favorite places? Heavens gate, the way from Gaxiang to the upper North, crossing the river, boat trip to Ba Be lake, the Dao family.
Transportation (car –driver – motorcycle)? The Minsk is a piece of Hans history. Driving it takes you back in time, an era of mechanical insufficiency though.
Accommodation: make it an all private houses trip!
Food: Quantity sufficient, normal quality. Eating in a private house guarantees better food and entainment.
The organization - Guide services: good attitude, fair language.

Any other comments? It is possible to pass the North as an inexperienced driver (look at me), although I would suggest to take a trip up east or west as a starter any way, you ‘ ll return twice as swilled.
