What were your favorite places? Bokeo / Golden Triangle and where the road ended.
Transportation: The Minsk is light and maneuverable, and it fits well on a long-tail. I don't think this trip could have been accomplished on another machine. A larger machine would be nice for graded and/or sealed roads.
Accommodation: When there are only 1 or 2 guesthouses in the last village you pass at the end of the day, it is hard to be picky.
Food: Sufficient quantity. Good quality. I do not plan to seek out a Laotian restaurant when I return home.
The organization - Guide services: Good attitude. Good knowledge. Good language. Keep in mind this trip was 90% in Laos. It all exceeded my expectation.
The price: Considering the logistics involved good value.

Any other comments: This was a difficult trip that involved running out of road two times and continuing along up the Mekong by long tail - once for 3 hours and once for an hour. Could not have done this without the Minsk which, by the way, gave us no mechanical difficulty to speak of the entire time. The guides - Tuan and Dat were wonderful. They put a lot of thought and effort into this trip, for what I am guessing is little no profit. If you are considering this trip please feel free to email me with question.
