Voyage Vietnam is proud of their country's rich traditional cultures and of its fifty four ethnic minority groups. In light of this, your adventure will not only be a motorbike,motorcyle tour, but will be filled with discovery and a study of the Vietnam local peoples you will come across. You will have the opportunity to stay with a number of different ethnic minority families. This will be a gathering point for sharing the happiness and the sorrows of life over a cup of tea or a couple of shots of rice wine. Your hosts will surprise you and you will be delighted with the amount of laughter.

Voyage Vietnam motorbike,motorcycle and adventure company has agreements with local families to provide clean and modest essentials which conform with "western standards", including bathrooms with soap and water and, in the communal bedrooms, sheets, blankets and mosquito nets. All food will be provided by the families when possible and we can guarantee that all the produce used will be clean and fresh. This is where Vietnam's reputation for its delicate and diverse cuisine originates. From village to village there is uniqueness in their gastronomy, providing some simple dishes for the less adventurous gourmet to harder things to stomach for the more adventurous type.

While on the road riding on high speed motorbike,motorcycle for long periods, some tour members may desire more "refined" comforts. If you prefer this option we can arrange to stay in hotels. Not all towns we come across have luxurious accommodation, however we will be able to accommodate you in the best hotel wherever we are. This is also a good opportunity to escape the "chuc suc khoe" nights of drinking rice wine, which you will very shortly find out about! If you decide to stay in higher standard accommodation, this will increase the cost (around 34 to 48 EUR a night for a 4 to 5-star hotel).

Everything is flexible depending on what you desire. Whoever your guide is, talk to him and he will do his best to meet your requests.

Food prepared in a motorbike,motorcycle tour by us

While enjoying the sights and sounds of a night party with your host families, you will enjoy local specialities which cannot be found anywhere else in the world except where you are at the time. For those who love to experience new cuisine and an opportunity to learn new recipes, you can easily visit the kitchen and see how all the tasty goodies are cooked up. The guide will be able to act as a translator but to master the magic touch will be completely up to you. Food will always be plentiful and above your expectations, never leaving you hungry.

If you should prefer a meal in a restaurant, your guide's advice will be at your disposal and all items on the menu will be translated so you will know what you’re eating. We also advise that if you do not want monosodium glutamate (MSG) in your food, please request so before every meal.

Drinks in motorbike,motorcycle tours

Our prices do not include drinks, but Vietnamese rice wine and green tea will usually flow in unlimited quantities, especially in rural areas where the locals will appreciate drinking with you. For this you have to learn to say NO very quickly. One of our few rules, for safety reasons, is that you do not drink beer or rice wine at breakfast or lunch but only once the day's riding is over.

There have been controversial discussions about whether should drinks included or excluded, we decided up to the majority and apply this policy to all of our motorbike,motorcycle,motorbiking tours (after many years of experience)
